#1 With a Bullet Point: 7 Magic Firearm Properties

A Review of the Role Playing Game Supplement #1 With a Bullet Point: 7 Magic Firearm Properties

#1 With a Bullet Point: 7 Magic Firearm Properties by Owen K.C. Stephens is a role playing game supplement published by Rogue Genius Games (originally Super Genius Games) for use with the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game. As such, it is covered by the Open Game License and some parts are considered to be Open Game Content as a result.

The supplement is available as a four-page PDF from DriveThruRPG for $1 but was purchased at a reduced price as part of a bundle. One page is the Open Game License and credits.

#1 With a Bullet Point: 7 Magic Firearm PropertiesThe first page has some standard text for the #1 With a Bullet Point range explaining the philosophy and what the supplements contain.

The High Concept explains that this supplement has new properties for firearms, from early firearms to Western and pulp-era campaigns.

Boomstick (sadly not called This is My Boomstick) can deafen an opponent.

Burrowing means the round burrows into an opponent, continuing to deal damage until dug out.

Dependable reduces the chances of misfire and it loses the broken condition after not being used for a while. Kind of boring, but practical.

Dimensional Capacity is an extradimensional space that can store more bullets than the firearm usually allows.

Entangling fires a round similar to how a tanglefoot bag works.

Hot Lead deals fire damage instead of shooting bullets.

Ricochet has rounds that deal damage to one target before bouncing off to hit another.

The PDF lacks bookmarks and at this length doesn’t need them. Navigation is fine. The text maintains the old three-column landscape format used by Super Genius Games and appeared to be free of errors. There are a couple of pieces of black and white stock art. Presentation is okay.

These properties make firearms more interesting and useful, especially those that seem that an alchemist has been messing with the rounds. They range from the boring but very practical and useful to the interesting, but none can be called bad. #1 With a Bullet Point: 7 Magic Firearm Properties can be found by clicking here.
