#1 With a Bullet Point: 5 Handy Haversacks

A Review of the Role Playing Game Supplement #1 With a Bullet Point: 5 Handy Haversacks

#1 With a Bullet Point: 5 Handy Haversacks by Owen K.C. Stephens is a role playing game supplement published by Rogue Genius Games (originally Super Genius Games) for use with the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game. As such, it is covered by the Open Game License and some parts are considered to be Open Game Content as a result.

The supplement is available as a three-page PDF from DriveThruRPG for $1 but was purchased at a reduced price as part of a bundle. One page is the Open Game License and credits.

The first page has some standard text for the #1 With a Bullet Point range explaining the philosophy and what the supplements contain.

The High Concept briefly explains what the supplement contains, which is additional abilities for the handy haversack.

#1 With a Bullet Point: 5 Handy HaversacksEach of the five has the increase in price, a description and construction requirements. Not a full magic item description, as these are addons for an existing one.

Handy holster adds a weapon belt which allows weapons to be sheathed as a swift action and adds a bonus to attacks.

Hasty haversack tosses desired items into the user’s hands.

Haversack of holding is one combined with a bag of holding; like that item, this comes in different capacities.

Horrific haversack will turn into a Medium humanoid that defends its user and itself.

Homogenous haversacks share a common set of extradimensional spaces. One haversack is the primary one but an item placed in any can be removed from any.

The PDF lacks bookmarks and at this length doesn’t need them. Navigation is fine. The text maintains the old three-column landscape format used by Super Genius Games and minor errors were noticed. The sole piece of stock art is on the cover. Presentation is okay.

This supplement is exactly what it says; five different ways of improving a handy haversack. Some are more useful than others, but some are also more expensive. #1 With a Bullet Point: 5 Handy Haversacks has a useful set of improvements for the magic item and it can be found by clicking here.
