A Litany in Scratches (Elemental Edition) by Michael Prescott is a role playing game supplement published by Gildor Games for use with Elemental. This adventure is adapted from the original for use with Elemental and is CC-NY-NC 3.0 for both original adventure and adaption.
The supplement is available for free from DriveThruRPG and consists of a five-page PDF and a second, 13-page PDF.
The first PDF is the adventure location itself. It consists of a former and now ruined monastery occupied by undead and treasure seekers. The first page has an overview of the location and an isometric map of the site and gatehouse with locations marked. The second page continues describing the site, with an isometric map of the underground area laid out in the same fashion. There’s also a d20 table of items to find in the trash and some details on an item, the Book of Immortals.
The next page is the Elemental adaption, with details on movement and Elemental stats for the various creatures encountered.
The final two pages have unmarked maps of both levels of the site.
The second PDF has six pre-generated Elemental characters, with stats and descriptions. Note; these pre-generated characters appear to be drawn from a pool of Elemental characters used in various supplements.
A Litany in Scratches (Elemental Edition) in Review
The PDF lacks bookmarks and is short enough that they are not needed. The pre-generated characters are linked in the second PDF. Navigation is good. The text roughly maintains a four-column landscape format and appeared to be free of errors. As well as the maps, there are some filler pieces of black and white art. Presentation is good.
This is one of a series of system-neutral adventure locations that have been adapted to Elemental. This is another self-contained location that can easily be dropped into most settings and is probably suitable for a couple of sessions of play.
