A Misplaced Minotaur- A Swords & Wizardry Mini-DungeonMini-Dungeon Module FB1 A Misplaced Minotaur starts with some introductory fluff text about the dungeon shifting into a maze. It explains the adventure is aimed at 4-6 characters of levels 4-6 and is part of a line of mini-dungeons intended to be drop in adventures, as side quests are string together as a mini campaign. How descriptive text and what certain symbols mean is covered as well as about the idea of Dungeons of Dazegoneby.

Gamemaster’s Eyes Only: has some details on the chaotic plane known as Labyrinthia.

Set Up briefly looks at how this can be used in a dungeon.

A Note to the Gamemaster explains that this is designed to be dropped into an existing dungeon.

Following this is a map, then the Key to the Dungeon Maze which describes the various locations.

Meeting the Mazeotaur looks at how the characters can encounter the creature.

Wrapping Up looks at how the characters leave the maze and what happens after the Mazeotaur is killed.

Continuing the Adventure has some hooks for more related adventures.

New Magic has a new magic item.

New Monsters just has the Mazeotaur.

A Misplaced Minotaur- A Swords & Wizardry Mini-Dungeon in Review

The PDF is bookmarked, but not really usefully. Navigation is okay. The text maintains a two-column format and appeared to be free of errors. There are a variety of colour and black and white illustrations. Presentation is okay.

This is, as it’s intended to be, an old school type of dungeon, though one with rather more traps and puzzles than monsters, and it can still be dangerous. Given its design, it can be easily dropped into another dungeon without too much issue, making it useful for expanding an existing dungeon a bit more.
