Scratch Builder November December 2023 is a supplement written and published by MJ Hobby Corner for use with making cheap models, primarily for tabletop wargaming.
The supplement is available as a 50-page PDF from Wargame Vault. One page is the front cover, one the Contents and one the credits.
The Introduction looks at what’s in this month’s issue.
RPG Corner: Mini Cavern Terrain looks at making some simple cavern terrain, such as stalactites, stalagmites, small hills and pools primarily from cardboard, with instructions on how to make such.
Work bench ideas looks at using coloured sandpaper, or uncoloured which is then painted, to make tiles.
Village Building Interiors The cheap way has some building interiors, including rugs, furniture and a weapon rack with weapons, made from cheap materials.
Hand Painted Tiles looks at making large tiles and painting them, as well as a look at some old painted dungeon tiles.
Project of the Month Mini Armor looks at making some tanks at 10mm scale, primarily from cardboard, with step-by-step instructions.
Adding Sails to a Ship looks at making sails for ship miniatures along with templates.
Project 2 Mesh Fantasy Armies looks at making these, with some moderately detailed instructions for cavalry, as well as a look at the current units built.
Shadow Sea looks briefly at customising miniatures for a specific game.

Scratch Builder Monthly December 2023 in Review
The PDF lacks bookmarks and is long enough with enough different sections that these would have been useful. The Contents has a number of sections listed, but no page numbers. Navigation could be better. The text is either one or two column format and a variety of errors were noticed. There are a variety of colour photos of tools, materials, project stages and finished projects. Presentation is good.
The projects in the supplement are covered in different levels of depth. Some are in enough detail that the process can be followed to make your own, whilst others are more examples of what could be done that can be used for inspiration.
