20 Things #20: Fort on the Borderlands (System Neutral Edition) by Creighton Broadhurst is a generic role playing game supplement published by Raging Swan Press. The supplement is covered by the Open Game License and some parts are considered to be Open Game Content as a result.
The supplement is available as an 11-page PDF for $3.75 from DriveThruRPG but was purchased at a reduced price thanks to a special bundle. The supplement comes in three versions, two PDFs, one designed for print and high-end devices, the other for mobile and low-end devices, and a plaintext file. Two pages of the PDF are the front and rear covers, two pages are ads, one page is the front matter and Contents and one the Open Game License.
10 Men-at-Arms with Personality explains that borderland forts have men-at-arms, then describes ten, with names, alignment, sex, species, class and level and a brief description.
10 Travellers with Personality is similar to the previous list but instead describes people who may be passing through and perhaps why.
10 Borderland Fort Whispers and Rumours has ten rumours to hear, some with more information for the GM only.
20 Borderland Sights and Sounds has 20 things and minor events.
20 Things #20: Fort on the Borderlands (System Neutral Edition) in Review
The PDF is bookmarked with major and minor sections linked. The Contents is to a similar level of depth and is hyperlinked. Navigation is good. The text maintains a two-column format and appeared to be free of errors. There are several pieces of black and white stock art. Presentation is decent.
Though this is intended to be aimed at borderland forts, and all the tables could be used for such, they don’t have to be. The first two tables especially could be used in other places where such would be encountered. This makes the supplement more generally useful. 20 Things #20: Fort on the Borderlands (System Neutral Edition) can be found by clicking here.
