A Review of the Role Playing Game Supplement Infamous Goletia

Infamous Goletia by Antonio Gabriel IV Abad is a role playing game supplement published by Gallant Knight Games through the Tiny Trove Community Content Programme for use with Tiny Dungeon 2E.

The supplement is available as an eight-page PDF from DriveThruRPG for $1.99 but was purchased at a reduced price during a sale. One page is the front cover and one the front matter.

Infamous GoletiaThe core book contains a number of microsettings, which are briefly described settings of varying length. This supplement is for use with the Legacy: The War of the Widows microsetting (written by the author of this supplement), although it can still be used elsewhere. Goletia are massive beings of stone, moss, iron and bronze in different shapes used by the Ferrex, the attackers in the setting’s war, as weapons.

The Introduction explains that these are Goletia whose infamy needs to be known and duplicates the details of the Immortal Heritage Trait possessed by Goletia.

Weaker Goletia has three of the weaker of their kind, though weaker does not mean weak. Each is individually described, in the same manner as those in the core book’s microsetting, and each has been called different names.

Greater Goletia are the more powerful ones and only one is described, in the same manner as the weaker Goletia.

Infamous Goletia in Review

The PDF lacks bookmarks and is short enough that these are not needed, though they would have been appreciated. Navigation is okay. The text maintains a single column format and appeared to be free of errors. There are some black and white illustrations. Presentation is okay.

This is basically a bestiary supplement with four new monsters, three dangerous and one very dangerous. As mentioned, though they are intended for use with a specific microsetting, there’s nothing to stop them from being used elsewhere. Though the Ferrex would not necessarily be used, the Goletia can be tweaked so that they are not needed. Infamous Goletia has four new monsters for Tiny Dungeon 2E and can be found by clicking here.
