A Review of the Role Playing Game Supplement Further Finds on a Dead Body Deep Down Below

Further Finds on a Dead Body Deep Down Below is a role playing game supplement written and published by Kai Pütz a.k.a Gregorius21778. The supplement is intended for use with Lamentations of the Flame Princess and, as such, is covered by the Open Game License with some parts considered to be Open Game Content as a result. This is an addition for Veins of the Earth.

Further Finds on a Dead Body Deep Down BelowThe supplement is available as a five page Pay What You Want PDF from DriveThruRPG. One page is the front cover, half the front matter and one the Open Game License.

The opening paragraphs explain that Veins of the Earth has a list of items that can be found on dead bodies. The list has entries that can only be found once and this supplement it a compilation of a series of blog posts that adds a further 50 items.

The remaining two pages are the list of items. The items are a varied collection, with some having LotFP stats and others referencing Veins of the Earth. Many are odd, some are useful.

The PDF lacks bookmarks and with only two pages of content doesn’t need them. Navigation is fine. The text follows a two-column format and appeared to be mostly free of error. Bar the cover illustration and pager backgrounds, there are no illustrations. Presentation is okay.

This supplement is what it sets out to be; a list of 50 sometimes-odd items that could be found in Veins of the Earth. Though it is intended for that setting, and for LotFP, with a bit of tweaking it can be used for other systems and settings, making it generally useful, though it might be handy to have Veins of the Earth to convert some of the more obscure references. Further Finds on a Dead Body Deep Down Below is a nice little supplement and can be found by clicking here.
