#1 With a Bullet Point: 3 Things Made From Crabmen

A Review of the Role Playing Game Supplement #1 With a Bullet Point: 3 Things Made From Crabmen

#1 With a Bullet Point: 3 Things Made From Crabmen by Owen K.C. Stephens is a role playing game supplement published by Rogue Genius Games (originally Super Genius Games) for use with the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game. As such, it is covered by the Open Game License and some parts are considered to be Open Game Content as a result.

The supplement is available as a three-page PDF from DriveThruRPG for $1 but was purchased at a reduced price as part of a bundle. One page is the Open Game License and credits.

#1 With a Bullet Point: 3 Things Made From CrabmenThe first page has some standard text for the #1 With a Bullet Point range explaining the philosophy and what the supplements contain.

The High Concept is a brief paragraph explaining the supplement and referencing Christina Stiles Presents: Waysides – Didjer’s Crab Shack.

Alchemical Gill is a crabman’s preserved gill that has been treated so that it can produce air under water for an air, allowing two Medium or four Small creatures to share it if it’s hand-held, or a single creature up to Large in size to wear the gill on its face.

Pincer-Pole is a mancatcher created by using a preserved crabman claw that can capture a creature of its own size or one size larger.

Special Material: Carapace is a substance harvested from crabman shell that can be used to make armour, equipment, shields and weapons that cost double, weigh 90% normal and are buoyant enough, in the case of armour, to counteract the armour check penalty to swim checks.

The PDF lacks bookmarks and with only one true page of content doesn’t need them. Navigation is fine. The text maintains the old three-column landscape format used by Super Genius Games and appeared to be free of errors. There is a single piece of stock art. Presentation is okay.

This is a simple, short supplement that does exactly what it says; provides three pieces of equipment that are made from crabmen. Which is deliberately a trifle on the icky side, though not that much. #1 With a Bullet Point: 3 Things Made From Crabmen is a decent little supplement and it can be found by clicking here.
