Free Role Playing Game Supplement Review: Adversary Archive #01: Orcs of the Bonefist Clan (Free Edition)

Adversary Archive #01: Orcs of the Bonefist Clan (Free Edition) is a role playing game supplement written and published by Freizeithelden for use with Daggerheart.

The supplement is available as a nine-page PDF for free from DriveThruRPG. One page is the front cover and two the front matter.

Adversary Archive #01: Orcs of the Bonefist Clan (Free Edition)The Bonefist Clan starts by explaining what the clam embodies and stands for. A sidebar has three things associated with the clan.

Most of the supplement is taken up by stat blocks, though some of these are blurred out; this is explained at the beginning to be because this is the free version and that the paid version has these all unlocked.

Amongst the stat blocks are three adventure hooks, each with the quest, the setting, the challenge and the greater threat described. One of these is also used as the basis for an adventure featured in Hope & Havoc #1.

The PDF lacks bookmarks and is short enough that they aren’t essential. Navigation is okay. The text maintains a two-column format and appeared to be free of errors. There are a couple of black and white stock illustrations. Presentation is okay.

This is essentially a free sample version of the full supplement, though it has enough content that it could still be used; six of the fifteen stat blocks are blurred out, which means there are still plenty that can be used.
