Using this Urban Locale is a standard piece explaining how to use the lists and what each list covers. This is followed by a brief paragraph on alleyways, then the d10 lists.

1: The Alleyway has ten alleyways named and described.

2: Major Locale Features has major pieces of dressing for an alleyway.

3: Minor Locale Features covers more minor pieces of dressing.

4: What’s Going On? has ten things that can happen.

5: Other Folk has ten NPCs to encounter, each given a name, alignment, age, sex and species along with a brief description.

The PDF is bookmarked with the various sections linked. The Contents is to a similar level of depth and is hyperlinked. Navigation is good. The text maintains a two-column format and appeared to be free of errors. There are no illustrations. Presentation is adequate.

This is a collection of tables to make an alleyway more distinctive, and it does a decent job of this. Most of the results for the tables are the sort of things that would be found in alleyways, though there is an underlying assumption that alleyways are poorly kept and the domain of criminals, rather than just being narrow places between buildings.
