Urban Dressing: War-Torn Town 2.0 (P1) by Josh Vogt is a role playing game supplement published by Raging Swan Press for use with the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game. As such, it is covered by the Open Game License and some parts are considered to be Open Game Content as a result.
The supplement is available as a 13-page PDF from DriveThruRPG for $3.75 but was purchased at a reduced price as part of a special bundle. Two pages are the front and rear covers, two are ads, one the front matter and Contents and one the Open Game License. The PDF comes in two versions, one intended for print and high-end devices, one intended for low-end and mobile.
War-Torn Town: Sights and Sounds is a d100 list of things to see and hear in a town affected by war.
War-Torn Town: Businesses is a d100 list of businesses with 50 results. Each business has a name, business type and a brief description. Most are in some way connected to war.
War-Torn Town: Folk of Interest is a d100 list with 50 results. Each NPC is given a name, alignment, class, race, level and a brief description, each generally related to war again.
War-Torn Town: Adventure Hooks is a d100 list of adventure hooks with 20 results.
Urban Dressing: War-Torn Town 2.0 (P1) in Review
The PDF is bookmarked with the various sections linked. The Contents is to a similar level of depth and is hyperlinked. Navigation is decent. The text maintains a two-column format and appeared to be free of errors. There are some black and white stock illustrations. Presentation is decent.
Like the rest of the 2.0 range of Urban Dressing supplements, the differences between this and the first are just some tweaks. Those who own the original supplement, or the GM’s Miscellany: Urban Dressing II compilation, will find nothing new. For those that lack either, this supplement does have a lot of use for creating war-related colour to an area, and unlike some of the others in the range, it is mostly on theme.
