Urban Dressing: Marsh Town 2.0 (P1) by Josh Vogt is a role playing game supplement published by Raging Swan Press for use with the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game. As such, it is covered by the Open Game License and some parts are considered to be Open Game Content as a result.
The supplement is available as a 13-page PDF from DriveThruRPG for $3.75 but was purchased at a reduced price as part of a special bundle. Two pages are the front and rear covers, two are ads, one the front matter and Contents and one the Open Game License. The PDF comes in two versions, one intended for print and high-end devices, one intended for low-end and mobile.
Marsh Town: Sights & Sounds is a d100 list of things that could be seen and heard in a marsh town.
Marsh Town: Businesses is a d100 list with 50 businesses. Each is given a name, business type and a brief description; many, but by no means all, are related to marshes in some way.
Marsh Town: Folk of Interest is a d100 list with 50 NPCs, each given their name, alignment, species, class, sex and level and a short description.
Marsh Town: Adventure Hooks is a d100 list with 20 adventure hooks.
Urban Dressing: Marsh Town 2.0 (P1) in Review
The PDF is bookmarked with the various sections linked. The Contents is to a similar level of depth and is hyperlinked. Navigation is decent. The text maintains a two-column format and appeared to be free of errors. There are several of black and white illustrations. Presentation is decent.
This adds nothing new for anyone who already has the original supplement or the GM’s Miscellany: Urban Dressing II compilation; there are some minor tweaks to formatting, but nothing in the way of new material. For those that lack either of those two supplements, this is a generally useful supplement for adding details for a marsh town. It is also nearly system neutral, making it more generally useful.
