Urban Dressing: Lumber Town 2.0 (P1) by Josh Vogt is a role playing game supplement published by Raging Swan Press for use with the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game. As such, it is covered by the Open Game License and some parts are considered to be Open Game Content as a result.
The supplement is available as a 13-page PDF from DriveThruRPG for $3.75 but was purchased at a reduced price as part of a special bundle. Two pages are the front and rear covers, two are ads, one the front matter and Contents and one the Open Game License. The PDF comes in two versions, one intended for print and high-end devices, one intended for low-end and mobile.
Lumber Town: Sights and Sounds is a d100 list of things to see and hear.
Lumber Town: Businesses is a d100 list with 50 results of businesses. Each business is given a name, type of business and a brief description. The businesses are of varying types, but there are many lumber- and tree-related ones.
Lumber Town: Folk of Interest is a d100 list with 50 NPCs. Each NPC is given a name, a brief description, alignment, sex, species, class and level. Like with the businesses, there are many wood- and tree-related ones.
Lumber Town: Adventure Hooks is a d100 list with 20 different adventure hooks following the same general theme.
Urban Dressing: Lumber Town 2.0 (P1) in Review
The PDF is bookmarked with the various sections linked. The Contents is to a similar level of depth and is hyperlinked. Navigation is decent. The text maintains a two-column format and appeared to be free of errors. There are several of black and white illustrations. Presentation is decent.
Just as with other supplements in the 2.0 range of Urban Dressing supplements, this adds nothing new for anyone who owns the original or the compilation supplement, GM’s Miscellany: Urban Dressing II. For those that lack either of those, this does add a variety of ways of fleshing out a lumber-themed town or district. Urban Dressing: Lumber Town 2.0 (P1) can be found by clicking here.
