The Stray and the Three Mascots by AL Stover is a role playing game supplement published by Onyx Path Publishing through the Canis Minor Community Content Programme for use with Pugmire. As such, it is covered by the Open Game License and some parts are considered to be Open Game Content as a result.
The supplement is available as a 15 page Pay What You Want PDF from DriveThruRPG. Two pages are the front and rear covers, one the Table of Contents and Acknowledgements, one the legal information and two the Open Game License.
The Acknowledgements explain that this is based on the Five Nights at Freddy’s franchise and the origin of the names.
The Stray and the Mascot is the story itself.
The Stray and the Three Mascots in Review
The PDF lacks bookmarks and doesn’t really need them. The Table of Contents covers the sections. Navigation is okay. The text maintains a single column format and appeared to be mostly free of errors. There are no illustrations. Presentation is okay.
Firstly, this isn’t a supplement as such, but a short story that’s set in the Realms of Pugmire universe. It’s a decent little story, though stories like this are not for everyone, especially unofficial ones, but if someone wants to read a short piece of essentially fan fiction in the setting, this is worth getting, especially as it’s Pay What You Want.
