Instant Lore: Holidays by Peter Jewicz is a generic role playing game supplement published by Mellow Golem Games.
The supplement is available as a seven page Pay What You Want PDF from DriveThruRPG. One page is the front cover, one the front matter, one the Table of Contents and one is an ad.
The Foreword explains that this supplement contains a number of tables to allow you to quickly generate holidays for a setting.
Following this are six tables. There are d10 tables for What Does it Celebrate?, Who Celebrates?, Holiday Mood and When is it Celebratd?, a d20 table for How Is It Celebrated?, which is rolled on 1-4 times, and a d8 table Get the Party Involved.
Instant Lore: Holidays in Review
The PDF is bookmarked with the various sections linked. The Table of Contents is to a similar level of depth and is hyperlinked. Navigation is good. The text maintains a two-column format and a minor error was noticed. There are no illustrations. Presentation is okay.
As it states in the Foreword, once the various tables are rolled on, the GM will then need to do a bit more work fleshing out the holiday. Still, there are a decent number of tables and options that the framework of a holiday or festival can be generated. Instant Lore: Holidays is a potentially useful little supplement and it can be found by clicking here.
