Dungeon Dressing: Sarcophagi 2.0 (P1)

A Review of the Role Playing Game Supplement Dungeon Dressing: Sarcophagi 2.0 (P1)

Dungeon Dressing: Sarcophagi 2.0 (P1) by David Posener is a role playing game supplement published by Raging Swan Press for use with the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game. As such, it is covered by the Open Game License and some parts are considered to be Open Game Content as a result.

Dungeon Dressing: Sarcophagi 2.0 (P1)The supplement is available as a 12-page PDF from DriveThruRPG for $3.75 but was purchased at a reduced price as part of a special bundle. Two pages are the front and rear covers, two are ads, one the front matter and Contents and one the Open Game License. The PDF comes in two versions, one intended for print and high-end devices, one intended for low-end and mobile.

Sarcophagi gives a few paragraphs on what these are and what they are used for.

Major Sarcophagi Features is a d100 list with 50 results of more important features.

Types of Burial lists various methods of burial, not limited to sarcophagi.

Minor Sarcophagi Features & Dressing is another d100 list with 50 results of more minor interesting features.

Sarcophagi Tricks & Traps has three traps for sarcophagi.

Dungeon Dressing: Sarcophagi 2.0 (P1) in Review

The PDF is bookmarked with the various sections linked. The Contents is to a similar level of depth and is hyperlinked. Navigation is decent. The text maintains a two-column format and appeared to be free of errors. There are several black and white illustrations, up to full page in size. Presentation is decent.

This is another in the 2.0 range of Dungeon Dressing supplements, and like the majority of this series has little new to offer to anyone who owns either the original supplement or GM’s Miscellany: Dungeon Dressing. In fact, it actually has slightly less to offer, for the haunts that were included in the original supplement and compilation are missing. The supplement is useful for anyone who lacks the original or compilation, but not for anyone who has either. Though this is technically for Pathfinder, there are only a few stats, and the supplement is practically system neutral. Dungeon Dressing: Sarcophagi 2.0 (P1) can be found by clicking here.
