The God Unmoving (Elemental Edition) by Michael Prescott is a role playing game supplement published by Gildor Games for use with Elemental. This adventure is adapted from the original system-neutral version and is and is CC-BY-NC 4.0 for the original and is CC-BY-NC 3.0 for the adapted parts.
The supplement is available for free from DriveThruRPG as a four-page PDF and a second, 13-page PDF.
The first PDF is the adventure location itself, a location in a sea that is forbidden to men, apart from the Porth-Montoon people who have made a deal with the god of a drowned land, and live on a cluster of islands close to the centre of the sea. The first page describes the various locations on the islands, arranging the descriptions around the map.
The second page has details on the Porth-Montoon, their fascination with time, notable types of people, treasures from the drowned land, a magic item, the god and the drowned land itself, together with a daily d6 table of encounters near the islands.
The third page has the Elemental conversion for everything that requires stats.
The fourth page has a players’ map of the island, unlabelled and, oddly, reversed.
The second PDF has six pre-generated Elemental characters, which are from a selection of characters that are used in these adventures.
The God Unmoving (Elemental Edition) in Review
The primary PDF lacks bookmarks and, given its length, doesn’t need them. The secondary PDF has the characters linked. Navigation is good. The text maintains a four-column landscape format and appeared to be free of errors. There are two illustrations, which appear to be custom, and the map. Presentation is good.
This series of adventures for Elemental all follow the same method; the original, system-neutral adventure is adapted for the system and then given away, providing free content for the game. This location is easy enough to drop in to a setting, as it’s a very small group of islands that could be a long way from anywhere.
