Island of the Lizard God by Will Doyle is a role playing game supplement published by Gildor Games for use with Elemental. The supplement is covered by a Creative Commons SA 2.0 license and is a conversion of an entry in a One Page Dungeon contest.
The supplement is available for free from DriveThruRPG. It comes in two PDFs; a five-page PDF that is the adventure and a 13-page PDF that is pre-generated characters.
The first page is the adventure, which is a colour hex map of an island with various points of interest marked and described. This part is system neutral.
The second and third pages have starting the adventure and rumours to get the characters involved, together with Elemental stats for the various creatures and locations, including travelling on the island.
The fourth page has a grayscale player’s map of the island and the fifth has a piece of art illustrating a location.
The second PDF has one page being the front cover and the other 12 having six pre-generated characters for Elemental.
Island of the Lizard God in Review
The primary PDF lacks bookmarks and is short enough that it doesn’t need them. The pre-gens PDF has each character bookmarked. Navigation is fine. The text is either written around the location or is four column and appeared to be free of errors. The main illustration is the hex map, together with the stock image that is the final page of the adventure PDF. Presentation is fine.
This is one in a series of short adventures that have been converted by Gildor Games for use with their Elemental system, providing a number of free adventures and locations for the system. The pre-gens are drawn from a number of pre-gens used in different adventures. This is a self-contained location, being an island, and should be easy enough to drop into a setting. Island of the Lizard God is a decent little adventure and it can be downloaded for free by clicking here.
