Wilderness Dressing: Moorland (P1) Remastered by Creighton Broadhurst is a role playing game supplement published by Raging Swan Press for use with the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game. As such, it is covered by the Open Game License and some parts are considered to be Open Game Content as a result. The supplement is also available in versions for OSR and Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition.
The supplement is available as a 13-page PDF from DriveThruRPG for $3.75 but was obtained at a reduced price thanks to a special offer. Two pages are the front and rear covers, one the front matter and Contents, two pages are ads and one is the Open Game License. The PDF comes in two versions, one designed for print and high-end devices, the other for mobile and low-end devices.
Moorland gives a brief paragraph on what these are.
Minor Moorland Events starts with a brief paragraph and is a d100 table of minor events to encounter. Footnotes have several skill checks.
Moorland Dressing again starts with a brief paragraph and is another d100 table, this time of dressing. Again, footnotes have skill checks.
Uneventful Day’s Travel has a brief sentence then a d100 table with 20 results (rather odd it’s not a d20 table) of what could be called non-event events.
Campsites again has a brief sentence and another d100 table with 20 results of places to camp.
Random Moorland Encounters is a d12 table of creatures to encounter.
Wilderness Dressing: Moorland (P1) Remastered in Review
The PDF is bookmarked with the various sections linked. The Contents is hyperlinked and to a similar level of depth. Navigation is decent. The text maintains a two column format and appeared to be free of errors. There’s a single full page black and white illustration. Presentation is okay.
This is what it sets out to be; a collection of tables intended to add material to a journey through moorlands. There are a decent number of options to be had, and of different types. Wilderness Dressing: Moorland (P1) Remastered is a nice little supplement and it can be found by clicking here.
