Weekly Wonders – Vampiric Infusions Volume I by Alex Riggs and Joshua Zaback is a role playing game supplement published by Necromancers of the Northwest for use with the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game. As such, it is covered by the Open Game License and some parts are considered to be Open Game Content as a result.
The supplement is available as a seven-page PDF from DriveThruRPG for $1.49 but was purchased at a reduced price as part of a special bundle. Two pages are the front and rear covers, one the front matter and one the Open Game License.
The Introduction explains that almost as soon as vampires got game statistics, players wanted to play them, though there were few options. Necromancers of the Northwest published Liber Vampyr: Secrets of the Blood for free on their site and contains material needed to use what’s in this supplement.
New Revenant Weaknesses has five new weaknesses that can be used instead of the ones from Liber Vampyr. The weaknesses are divided into lesser and greater; characters must have three lesser and two greater.
Feats has twelve new feats usable by revenants and other cruomancers. One is noteworthy, as it’s a death feat that can infect those around with a disease on the character’s death.
Weekly Wonders – Vampiric Infusions Volume I in Review
The PDF is bookmarked with major and minor sections linked. Navigation is good. The text maintains a two-column format and appeared to be free of errors. There are a couple of stock illustrations, black and white and colour. Presentation is okay.
This isn’t a standalone book, being designed to give new options for another, though that other is free. However, without Liber Vampyr, what’s in this supplement doesn’t make a lot of sense or have much use; this isn’t bad, just a note that the material doesn’t work by itself. It does provide a range of new options for the vampires of Liber Vampyr. Weekly Wonders – Vampiric Infusions Volume I can be found by clicking here.
