Urban Dressing: Bridge Town 2.0 (P1)

A Review of the Role Playing Game Supplement Urban Dressing: Bridge Town 2.0 (P1)

Urban Dressing: Bridge Town 2.0 (P1) by Josh Vogt is a role playing game supplement published by Raging Swan Press for use with the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game. As such, it is covered by the Open Game License and some parts are considered to be Open Game Content as a result.

Urban Dressing: Bridge Town 2.0 (P1)The supplement is available as a 13-page PDF from DriveThruRPG for $3.75 but was purchased at a reduced price as part of a special bundle. Two pages are the front and rear covers, two are adds, one the front matter and Contents and one the Open Game License. The PDF comes in two versions, one optimised for print and high-end devices and the other for low end devices and mobile.

Bridge Town: Sights & Sounds is a d100 list of things to see in the town, often associated with the bridge.

Bridge Town: Businesses is a d100 list with 50 results of businesses to encounter. Each is given a brief name, type of business, mostly connected with the town type, and description.

Bridge Town: Remarkable Bridges is a d100 list with 50 results having brief bridge descriptions.

Bridge Town: Adventure Hooks is a d100 list of adventure hooks with 20 results.

The PDF is bookmarked with the various sections linked. The Contents is to a similar level of depth and is hyperlinked. Navigation is decent. The text maintains a two-column format and appeared to be free of errors. There are a number of stock black and white images. Presentation is decent.

Like others in the 2.0 range, this is essentially the same supplement as the original version, with just some alterations to the layout. It is also identical to the content in the compilation, GM’s Miscellany: Urban Dressing II. For those with either the original supplement or the compilation, there is no point getting this one, as there is nothing new. Also, though it is listed for Pathfinder, it is effectively system neutral, making it more broadly useful. Urban Dressing: Bridge Town 2.0 (P1) is a useful supplement for those who lack the original or the compilation, but has nothing new for those that have either, and it can be found by clicking here.
