So What’s The Human Called, Anyway? by Creighton Broadhurst is a role playing game supplement published by Raging Swan Press for use with the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game. As such, it is covered by the Open Game License and some parts are considered to be Open Game Content as a result.
The supplement is available as a 13-page PDF from DriveThruRPG for $1.99 but was purchased at a reduced price as part of a special bundle. Two pages are the front and rear covers, three the front matter, Contents and Foreword, one page is an ad and one is the Open Game License. The PDF comes in two versions, one designed for print and high-end devices, the other for mobile and low-end devices.
The Foreword explains that coming up with decent sounding names for NPCs can be a problem and this supplement intends to help with that. It also explains what’s in the supplement.
Following this are five sets of tables, each of which follows a similar format. The five tables cover Anglo-Saxon, Finnish, Greek, Roman and Viking names. Each has two d100 tables, each with 50 results, that have male and female names for the culture. Anglo-Saxon, Finnish and Roman come with surnames (though it’s noted in the Foreword that the Anglo-Saxons did not use surnames) whilst Greek and Viking come with nicknames, all in d100 tables with 50 results.

The PDF is bookmarked with major and minor sections linked. The Contents are to a similar level of depth and are hyperlinked. Navigation is good. The text is two column format or three for the tables and appeared to be free of errors. There is a single piece of black and white stock art. Presentation is okay.
Though this is listed as being for Pathfinder, it’s completely system neutral and will work with any system. It can also be used with settings other than standard fantasy, especially historical, making it more broadly useful. The supplement basically collects a bunch of research in one place for easy access. So What’s The Human Called, Anyway? can be found by clicking here.
