Horizontech Catalogue 001 – New Starship Systems by Alex Riggs and Joshua Zaback is a role playing game supplement published by Necromancers of the Northwest for use with the Starfinder Roleplaying Game. As such, it is covered by the Open Game License with some parts considered to be Open Game Content as a result. This is a collection of new options for starships.
The supplement is available as a PDF from RPGNow at the regular price of $1.49 but was purchased at the reduced price of $1. This is an eight page bookmarked PDF with two pages being the front and rear covers, one page being the front matter and one page the Open Game License.
The supplement starts with a brief introductory paragraph on how it intends to provide players more options for constructing their own starships. The new systems are divided into four categories. The first of these is Expansion Bays, which are, of course, systems that fill expansion bays. There are eleven new systems in this section, from a brig to education facilities to a good kitchen to FTL communications and something that sounds rather like nitrous for starships.
The second section is Security Measures, which only has one system, a method of varying local gravity in a starship.
More New Systems again only has one system, a way of sealing off separate parts with forcefields.
The final section, New Weapons Systems has seven new weapons, two light, four heavy (one of which is a heavy version of a light weapon) and one capital. The capital weapon is essentially a black hole gun.

The PDF is very well bookmarked with every section and new system linked. Navigation is therefore very good for a short supplement.
The text maintains a two column colour format, excluding page-wide tables, and is almost error-free. There is only one problem with readability – the smaller text in the front matter; the font and colour combine to make it extremely difficult to read. Fortunately, it also isn’t necessary to read. There is a single colour stock image. Presentation is decent.
This is a nice collection of a range of new systems that can be added to a starship. They cover a range of uses, from the obvious weapons and defences to less common things such as schools and colleges, perhaps for those who want to create an entire community on a starship, such as on the Enterprise in Star Trek: The Next Generation.
