Dungeon Dressing: Miscellaneous Decorations 2.0 (P1)

A Review of the Role Playing Game Supplement Dungeon Dressing: Miscellaneous Decorations 2.0 (P1)

Dungeon Dressing: Miscellaneous Decorations 2.0 (P1) by Aaron Bailey, Creighton Broadhurst, Jeff Erwin and Mike Welham is a role playing game supplement published by Raging Swan Press for use with the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game. As such, it is covered by the Open Game License and some parts are considered to be Open Game Content as a result.

Dungeon Dressing: Miscellaneous Decorations 2.0 (P1)The supplement is available as a 16-page PDF from DriveThruRPG for $3.75 but was purchased at a reduced price as part of a special bundle. Two pages are the front and rear covers, one the front matter and Contents, one the Open Game License and two are ads.

Decoration: Doom Paintings are a type of English religious painting and there is a d100 table of major features and one of minor features, though neither has 100 results.

Decoration: Graffiti is a d100 table of graffiti to find.

Decoration: Tapestries has a d20 table for the subject and d100 tables for major and minor features, though neither has 100 results, as well as some common characteristics.

The PDF is bookmarked with the major sections and subsections linked. The Contents is to a similar level of depth and is hyperlinked. Navigation is good. The text maintains a two-column format and appeared to be almost free of errors. There are a number of black and white stock illustrations. Presentation is decent.

Though a Pathfinder supplement, there are few Pathfinder stats making it more system neutral than Pathfinder. This is a compilation of material from Dungeon Dressing: Doom Paintings and Dungeon Dressing: Tapestries plus the graffiti from GM’s Miscellany: Dungeon Dressing. If you have the first two supplements, you already have most of what’s in this one, and if you have the latter, it doesn’t look like there’s anything new in this one. In fact, it looks like there is less material than in GM’s Miscellany: Dungeon Dressing. Those who own GM’s Miscellany: Dungeon Dressing can skip this supplement; those who only own the two smaller ones may as well skip it as the extra material isn’t worth the price. If you lack those, this does have some useful material. Dungeon Dressing: Miscellaneous Decorations 2.0 (P1) can be found by clicking here.
