#1 With a Bullet Point: 7 Feats For Flying Foes

A Review of the Role Playing Game Supplement #1 With a Bullet Point: 7 Feats For Flying Foes

#1 With a Bullet Point: 7 Feats For Flying Foes by Owen K.C. Stephens is a role playing game supplement published by Rogue Genius Games (originally Super Genius Games) for use with the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game. As such, it is covered by the Open Game License and some parts are considered to be Open Game Content as a result.

The supplement is available as a three-page PDF from DriveThruRPG for $1 but was purchased at a reduced price as part of a bundle. One page is the front cover and one Open Game License and credits.

#1 With a Bullet Point: 7 Feats For Flying FoesThe first page has some standard text for the #1 With a Bullet Point range explaining the philosophy and what the supplements contain.

The High Concept explains this is intended to add new options for flying foes, such as those in Kith of the Harpy Queen, that can also increase a monster’s CR.

Aerobatics makes it difficult to target the flyer and adds 1/10 of their speed to their CMD.

Dogfighting gives the user a number of small tactical advantages in combat.

Dive Bomb adds velocity to the damage from ranged attacks.

Drift allows a foe’s attack to push the user into a new flight path.

Improved Flyby Attack allows a user to fly up to a foe, take an action, and then retreat before they react.

Slashing Wind allows a full attack to be combined with a single move.

Strafe adds melee velocity to the damage of melee attacks.

#1 With a Bullet Point: 7 Feats For Flying Foes in Review

The PDF lacks bookmarks and at this length doesn’t need them. Navigation is fine. The text maintains the old three-column landscape format used by Super Genius Games and appeared to be free of errors. There are a couple of pieces of black and white stock art. Presentation is okay.

Aerial combat is an area that is often neglected and this supplement provides some feats that can be used to increase the options available, though they do seem to be mostly targeting natural flyers not magical ones. #1 With a Bullet Point: 7 Feats For Flying Foes has a useful collection of feats and it can be found by clicking here.
