#1 With a Bullet Point: 6 Powers for the Legendary Weapons of Mythic Characters by Owen K.C. Stephens is a role playing game supplement published by Rogue Genius Games (originally Super Genius Games) for use with the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game. As such, it is covered by the Open Game License and some parts are considered to be Open Game Content as a result.
The supplement is available as a three-page PDF from DriveThruRPG for $1 but was purchased at a reduced price as part of a bundle. One page is the Open Game License and credits.
The first page has some standard text for the #1 With a Bullet Point range explaining the philosophy and what the supplements contain.
This supplement has new properties for legendary weapons, and other items, which are those used by mythic characters.
Shining means the item can glow as dim as a candle or as bright as daylight, the spell. Whether it works like actual daylight is unclear. It’s a glowing item.
Enormous items are a size category larger than the character but there’s no penalty. There are different powers based on the slot. The impression given is that someone was watching anime when this was designed.
Forceful items count as force effects.
Orichalcum items are made from strange materials that cannot be explained by non-mythic alchemy, blacksmithing or magic. They attune themselves to what substances a struck creature is vulnerable to.
Signature items can only be used by the bonded character.
Warning items give the owner a split-second warning of impending danger.
#1 With a Bullet Point: 6 Powers for the Legendary Weapons of Mythic Characters in Review
The PDF lacks bookmarks but with only one real page of content doesn’t need them. Navigation is fine. The text maintains a three-column landscape format (which is odd) and some minor errors were noticed. There are no illustrations bar the cover. Presentation is okay.
The supplement has powers for legendary items belonging to mythic characters. Both those descriptions suggest something impressive. None of the powers in this can really count as impressive. Some may be useful, but some are a little vague in the descriptions and, really, none seem like anything a player would really want. #1 With a Bullet Point: 6 Powers for the Legendary Weapons of Mythic Characters is an okay supplement and it can be found by clicking here.
