#1 With a Bullet Point: 5 Control Water Spell Feats

A Review of the Role Playing Game Supplement #1 With a Bullet Point: 5 Control Water Spell Feats

#1 With a Bullet Point: 5 Control Water Spell Feats by Owen K.C. Stephens is a role playing game supplement published by Rogue Genius Games (originally Super Genius Games) for use with the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game. As such, it is covered by the Open Game License and some parts are considered to be Open Game Content as a result.

The supplement is available as a three-page PDF from DriveThruRPG for $1 but was purchased at a reduced price as part of a bundle. One page is the Open Game License and credits.

#1 With a Bullet Point: 5 Control Water Spell FeatsThe first page has some standard text for the #1 With a Bullet Point range explaining the philosophy and what the supplements contain.

The High Concept explains that this expands the options for the control water spell.

Eldritch Well, when creating a space able to hold water through a spell, spell-like ability, magic item or supernatural ability, fills that space with water, as per the create water spell.

Greater Water Control allows the created water to be raised or lowered multiple times and attempt to drown creatures in it.

Water Lord (oddly described as a duke in the descriptive text) allows the caster to summon a water elemental.

Water Knight means the user can order around creatures associated with water.

Water of Life makes your spells blood magic, allowing you to control and create blood using spells designed to control or create water.

The PDF lacks bookmarks and at this length doesn’t need them. Navigation is fine. The text maintains a three-column portrait format – three column is the old Super Genius layout, but was used with landscape, and doesn’t work so well with portrait – and appeared to be free of errors, bar the duke mentioned earlier. There are a couple of stock black and white images. Presentation is okay.

This is definitely a very thematic group of feats. They’re probably not so good for someone who just uses such spells occasionally, but they would be useful for a character or NPC with a strong water elementalist theme, giving them more options. #1 With a Bullet Point: 5 Control Water Spell Feats is a decent group of feats and it can be found by clicking here.
