#1 With A Bullet Point: 3 Simian Races

A Review of the Role Playing Game Supplement #1 With A Bullet Point: 3 Simian Races

#1 With A Bullet Point: 3 Simian Races by Owen K.C. Stephens is a role playing game supplement published by Rogue Genius Games (originally Super Genius Games) for use with the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game. As such, it is covered by the Open Game License and some parts are considered to be Open Game Content as a result.

The supplement is available as a three-page PDF from DriveThruRPG for $1 but was purchased at a reduced price as part of a bundle. One page is the Open Game License and credits.

#1 With A Bullet Point: 3 Simian RacesThe first page has some standard text for the #1 With a Bullet Point range explaining the philosophy and what the supplements contain.

The second page contains the content, starting with a single paragraph explaining this has all the rules needed to add three new simian races.

The Mangani are powerful, gorilla-like warriors, better at physical actions than mental ones.

Shift are ape-men who can take on human appearance, natural survivors who can alter self at least once per day.

Wukong are sapient monkeys who can speak, small beings who are capable of fine manipulation.

Primate Feats has two new feats, one allowing them to climb at half normal movement rate, the other to use their tail to hold objects.

#1 With A Bullet Point: 3 Simian Races in Review

The PDF lacks bookmarks and at this length doesn’t need them. The text maintains the old three-column landscape format used by Super Genius Games and appeared to be almost free of errors. There is a single black and white illustration on the cover. Presentation is fine.

Following the principle of the series, and the fact that only one page is content, this supplement describes the rules for playing the three new races, and no more. Anything else will need the GM, or player, to come up with it. #1 With A Bullet Point: 3 Simian Races is a short supplement that concisely describes three new options and it can be found by clicking here.
