#1 With a Bullet Point: 10 Feats of Hammer and Thunder

A Review of the Role Playing Game Supplement #1 With a Bullet Point: 10 Feats of Hammer and Thunder

#1 With a Bullet Point: 10 Feats of Hammer and Thunder by Owen K.C. Stephens is a role playing game supplement published by Rogue Genius Games (originally Super Genius Games) for use with the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game. As such, it is covered by the Open Game License and some parts are considered to be Open Game Content as a result.

The supplement is available as a three-page PDF from DriveThruRPG for $1 but was purchased at a reduced price as part of a bundle. One page is the front cover and one Open Game License and credits.

#1 With a Bullet Point: 10 Feats of Hammer and ThunderThe first page has some standard text for the #1 With a Bullet Point range explaining the philosophy and what the supplements contain.

The High Concept explains that the feats grant extra abilities to bludgeoning weapons and electricity effects as if they were Thor.

Hammer Block allows the weapon to be spun rapidly to create a virtual shield.

Hammer Charge allow the user to be thrown behind their weapon.

Ranged Crush allows blunt objects to be thrown hard enough to disarm or knock down foes.

Sacred Hammer imbues the weapon with holy impact.

Smashing Smite imbues it with holy force.

Stunning Hammer hits foes so hard they are stunned.

Thrown Slam allows the weapon to be thrown and hit multiple foes.

Thunder Clap created a deafening thunderclap when causing electrical or sonic damage.

Thundering Smite allows the smite evil ability to deal sonic damage.

Unbelievable Throw allows an area affect attack to be made.

#1 With a Bullet Point: 10 Feats of Hammer and Thunder in Review

The PDF lacks bookmarks and at this length doesn’t need them. Navigation is fine. The text maintains the old three-column landscape format used by Super Genius Games and there looked to be one error; Unbelievable Throw is missing a description. There are a couple of pieces of black and white stock art. Presentation is okay.

It’s pretty clear that a lot of these feats have definitely been inspired by the Marvel Cinematic Universe depiction of Thor, and they do add utility to a bludgeoning weapon. Be aware, though, that none of them have anything to do with lightning bolts or channelling electricity; the closest is making thunder when dealing electrical damage. #1 With a Bullet Point: 10 Feats of Hammer and Thunder is a decent collection of new feats and can be found by clicking here.
